I cannot recommend this restaurant! I ordered the Italian Champ and Chicken Parmesan sandwiches, and I was quite disappointed. The Italian Champ was just a Ciabatta bun with a slice of ham, a little bit of capicola, and a tiny amount of cheese—nothing more. The Chicken Parmesan tasted like frozen chicken fingers on a stale bun, topped with marinara sauce that added no flavor and just made it soggy. I wish I could provide a better review, but for $25, I was very let down. Both sandwiches could use significant improvement, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and enhances the quality. Orillia deserves better dining options, and I sincerely hope they can make the necessary improv...
I’m quite disappointed with my experience at Orillia Italian Gelato and Market. I visited with my Italian wife, and we were both underwhelmed. The Chicken Parmesan was made with chicken fingers, and the meatball tasted like it was frozen and from a Swedish brand. I was informed that all the ingredients were imported from Italy, but it didn’t reflect in the quality. Perhaps it’s time to reconsider the Italian flag display, as it doesn’t seem to represent true Italian cuisine.
Orillia Italian Gelato and Market features an excellent selection of high-quality ingredients within a warm, family-run atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The gelato is delightful and indulgent. This is certainly a spot to check out on a hot summer day. Don't miss their menu!
I had an amazing meatball sandwich at a great price. The service was excellent, and the food was of high quality. Orillia is a lovely town to explore, with friendly locals and a pleasant, laid-back atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy your sandwich or gelato outside! The veal sandwich was made from some kind of minced meat that tasted like a frozen patty cooked in an air fryer. The bun seemed either frozen or stale. The meatballs were disappointing and took over 20 minutes to prepare, as they could only handle two orders at a time. I wouldn't return.
You should be embarrassed to say you are Italian. Went with my Italian wife. And wow. Chicken Parm. Made with chicken fingers Meatball made with frozen Swedish meatballs. Was told all ingredients imported from Italy. Please take down thatItalian flag Nonna is rolling in her grave.
Absolutely fantastic gelato! We love this delightful little shop. They also have traditional Italian products that are quite rare to find. The selection of flavors changes frequently, and every one we've tried has been outstanding! It's a wonderful addition to our community!
