I then knew why people recommended the Toronto Roll. The Toronto Roll contained shrimp tempura and yam tempura on the inside and then assorted sashimi, crabmeat, avocado, cucumber, tobiko, unagi sauce, spicy mayo, and wasabi mayo on the top. Holy moly. I had never seen a roll with so many chunks of assorted sashimi piled up on it before. It was a crazy sushi and sashimi mountain! (It worked out for me because I actually didn’t want to order a full roll of carbs and order sashimi instead, but since I couldn’t resist trying the much-recommended Toronto Roll, it was perfect since it had so much sashimi on top of it too. Awesome!
Best Sushi in Markham!. I can't speak about anything but the specialty sushi rolls, tempura, miso soup and salad but all of these things are DELICIOUS. I avoid going to all you can eat sushi places and prefer a la carte to get better quality sushi, and this place has never let me down. The rolls are pretty big, and definitely filling. So many great specialty rolls to choose from a few of my favourites in no particular order: Paradise in Osaka, Salmon Lovers, DJ Dragon Roll, Spicy Salmon Tempura Roll, King Spider Roll Amazing Spider Roll.. The list goes on, I'm always torn about what to order on my frequent visits.
Awesome Place to Eat. I have been there many times. They have cute private rooms to sit in and the interior is authentically decorated. Very beautiful design. The sushi chef and the owner was trained by a famous Japanese chef, so there is a lot of care that goes into all the food, but aside from being delicious and fresh, it is also affordable. They only have a small amount of staff, but it's perfect for the size of the restaurant and they are very helpful, kind, and quick. I highly recommend this place. Best sushi place in Markham.
Return visit, likely my fourth time. Korean operated and done well. Uni is tasty and very affordable. Miso and Salad were on par with most. Kaki fry was plentiful and a surprisingly nice. Chirashi was good with properly seasoned rice, variety was average but for a nice piece of seared tuna. Black dragon roll containing tempura and unagi was an excellent choice for my dining companion who was not eating raw fish. Service was attentive even this busier night. A nice spot for East Markham. 80

My only complaint is about the booths in the restaurant. While they offer privacy, they make it difficult to get the attention of a server. The service bell on the wall didn't work on two occasions, so it was necessary to lean out of the booth to flag down a server. Despite this issue, I would still return to this restaurant and recommend it for those who enjoy tasty food. Just be prepared to have some patience, as it seems that they are understaffed every time I have been there.
Nice place, great value, Korean/Japanese. This place is buzzy. Was told there would be a wait, were seated fast tho. Small private tables, very clean. Shared sushi pizza, Toronto roll, and spicy pork ramin. Errything was great and the spicy ramin was EXTRA HOT. Probably too hot for most but just the way I like it. Took some time for server to take the order but we were given tea right away and food came out fast. I think the prices are good given the qualitey.
The restaurant is good, but the prices are a bit high. I ordered the amazing spider roll, which was nicely seasoned and delicious. They give you the whole soft shell crab, which was a nice touch. However, I gave it three stars because it was $19, which I found to be a little pricey.
I discovered that this restaurant recently received the Consumers Choice Award. You can see the certification displayed in front of the entrance. I truly believe that this restaurant deserves the recognition! I hope they continue to serve fresh food every day.
