Driving all the little towns on the coast between Bilbao and San Sebastian, stopped by for lunch. Small menu, no English, decent location on the harbor, among a bunch of other places. Only had a few tapas available, in addition to the small menu. We had a couple of them, a couple salads and a baked/grilled fish with a bottle of Txakoli. All was fine enough for a simple lunch. Service was speedy and the view was nice.
We ate there 3 days running on a week stay in Lekeitio which says it all really . You need to get there by 1.30 as it does fill up and that is when they start serving food . The 12 euro menu is great value , huge salads to start or rizzoto then fresh fish then pudding and a bottle of wine and water . I recommend the eel salad and the fresh sole beautiful and fresh
They treated us very quickly and with a good deal. a menu of 18€, the food was well in terms of quantity and quality, home type. We chose the outside table further away from the entrance door and being a Sunday of January we ended up frozen and changing to another for desserts. The least pleasant doves attack tables when they leave the diners.
Está en pleno puerto de lekeitio. Ves el mar y los barcos desde la terraza. Me acabo de tomar la mejor ensalada de bakalao de mi vida y eso que soy vasco. En gran cantidad y sin escatimar en tomate lechuga bakalao, patata y una cebolla que se te deshace. He estado muy bien atendido por Nahia y su compañero. Para volver.
We lunched here and had a lovely meal; the monkfish for two as part of the set meal was fantastic value. The starters were fine and the local wine perfectly drinkable as part of a relaxed lunch. Couldn’t really fault it and full of friendly Spanish families.
Euro menu, with quality and large dishes, on a terrace overlooking the port. very fast attention and very nice waiters. What else can be asked. try txitxarro if you have a chance, very good.
V pleasing harbour side bar ...good selection of tapas and simple plates of food ...good wine and pleasant helpful staff...menus in most european languages..enjoy
good place to eat and enjoy the views of the port and this town. the food was good, I recommend ordering fish and the attention was excellent.
