Just been to Padbury fish and chips for a feed. Seafood Combo cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy batter and moist tasty seafood. Snapper and chips the same. Battered sausage that was flavoursome. Tasty gravy and mushy peas. The owner was super friendly and the staff were all happy which made for a really good vibe. Also didn’t mind us sitting at the table inside and eating. Do yourself a favour and next time you head out for fish and chips give this place a go. 10/10 from me. Great value too.
My crumbed fish was really very, very good tender and tasty and cooked beautifully, but I’ve taken off one star because there was no fresh lemon with my fish and I couldn’t even buy tartare sauce. These are fish and chip shop basics. I’m also taking another star because you can’t buy a salad not even a prepackaged coleslaw. Not everyone wants to eat chips with everything. This shop is good but it could be great. Service: Take out
Fantastic fish and chips. Generous serving and probably the best tasting fish I've had a long time. Owners very friendly and very efficient. Advertised as two pieces of fish. Only one was in each portion. Chips were under cooked and on the small side of a fair portion for the cost. Wouldn’t return. Portions are horrific for the price you pay. Not the worst tasting but far from quality. Would not recommend. First and last time for everything though. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–60
