I’ve been to this hotel many times over the years and good location to meet up with friends. It has now changed hands and the food is a huge asset to this original looking hotel. In the past you wouldn’t necessarily go for the food...experience before. So disappointed with the quality of fish in Perth especially in hotels I don’t even order most of the time. Luckily my husband did and the pink snapper was so amazing and the portion given was exceptional to boot. Naturally I swapped my lunch with him and he enjoyed seeing me drool. another party, so to pub for a meal and drinks. we have booked our last visit in paddo so. unfortunately they have booked the table, but forget to book it. it was busy with couples who were lying on big tables. we did it. a few small tables to collect to only after the round some chairs and other diners to encourage their tables to move incredible. the meals have risen a bit since our last visit, but some are still not a bad price when they are in a pint and burger for $27. the parmi was not the best and overpriced at $32. once again they filled the commands and brought a beef burger instead of a vegetarian meal, as ordered. This is an old pub situated in Mount Hawthorn.  We had visited here previously but I believe it has just changed management. Well done to the new owners as they have got a great pub menu with decent servings.  Not only that it is very...affordable with some of the burger meals including a pint of beer. This was a great place to spend some time with friends and family. We had one small mix up with meals but it was very quickly and politely corrected. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I have no doubt that the new management will have a loyal clientele. We will certainly be returning.

came to lunch here on Saturday. strom has been out since 10:30. the staff checked when the kitchen is ready for operation. ordered drinks and meals. food came approx. 20 minutes later. beautiful and delicious. I thought the kartoffel in the croquettes was a little undercooked. perhaps too much milk or butter, as they seemed maean. the salsa and the Chipotle dimmer were nice. partner had fish and chips. great help. as we left, the employees turn on the heating. will be back to try out different menu items.

Used to be an a awesome pub with great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great place to watch the footy...not anymore
