AWFUL experience! My wife and I hired Mike and Paese Mio to cater our wedding on October 26 and we were extremely disappointed. We were treated with utter disrespect, especially considering the was a large catering order, several hundred dollars, paid in advance. They were happy to take our money but were unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful and nasty. When the food was delivered my wife and I didn’t realize that the $95 antipasto tray we ordered was missing. We were busy getting married so we didn’t notice the missing tray until later in the night. The serving spoons which were supposed to be included were also not delivered. They also make pizza to stay or for take-out and watched them being made while waiting for a table and boy did they look good. They actually have a 21 pizza they call the Boardwalk. Everything looked good and the wait staff seem very friendly. Went with my boyfriend. We ordered the salmon and seafood crab ravioli special. That was amazing! The sauce was incredible and went perfectly with all the seafood elements in the dish. Also a large portion for the price. I would get this again. However, we also ordered the baked ravioli with meat sauce. It wasn’t baked, it wasn’t hot, and the sauce was both runny and too meaty at the same time and was clearly too sweet (meaning they probably added sugar to the sauce instead of cooking it properly) I’ve had better tomato sauces at diners. This restaurant offers generous portions and delicious food, and I really appreciate that it's a BYOB establishment. The staff, including both workers and owners, are very attentive. The pizza is particularly tasty. We even had our wedding here on their outdoor terrace. While it was a casual ceremony, they provided us with two very professional waiters who took care of everything. Some items on the menu are a bit pricey, but the food is always excellent. This is my go-to spot for Italian cuisine! It's a hidden gem. While it's small, it's very cozy. It's not glamorous or trendy, but the food is delicious. You can't make a wrong choice from the menu—everything has that homemade, authentic flavor and aroma. Even if there are service hiccups, the experience is worth it. The Alfredo is creamy and rich, definitely a highlight. I particularly love the spaghetti and meatballs! They even serve lunch dishes in the morning.
HORRIBLE experience with getting catering from this restaurant. The owner is nasty and disrespectful. The food at the event was ice cold, and they didn't deliver an entire tray of antipasto that was paid for upfront. They refused to refund our money for this. That is called STEALING, and I fully plan to report them. We used to love to order from here, but I will never again. And I'll make sure to tell everyone else I know to never come here.
This was our go-to spot for all our visitors from home or Chicago. The food was exceptional, and the owners were some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Unfortunately, they have retired now. I'm hoping their sons will open a new restaurant soon. My sons even had me stock up on several of their favorite dishes to freeze for special occasions.

The portions are fantastic—definitely generous! The homemade bread served before the main courses is amazing. Overall, a brilliant dining experience!
