I have been to India a few dozen times and I am a fan of gastronomy and Indian cuisine in particular, so with good reason I can judge whether an Indian restaurant is worth it or not. In all sincerity, Palki restaurant offers truly excellent dishes. Everything is truly excellent, not to mention the service and kindness of the staff who suggest the various specialities on a rich and varied menu. The meat is very tender, and the desserts are also very good.Absolutely worth a visit. I suggest it, convinced to give a good recommendation

I have a great love for Indian cuisine, and I stumbled upon this restaurant almost by accident while on a walk. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff, especially the young lady who served us. She patiently answered my questions about the food preparation and showed great knowledge and helpfulness. I enjoyed a delicious vegetable rice and a variety of succulent chicken dishes. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and I also sampled the delicate Prawn Dilwala, which was excellent. The prices were very reasonable as well.

Palki is one of the top Indian restaurants we have ever dined at. Our experience there was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal, with the delightful aroma and flavors of the spices shining through. The service was excellent, with the friendly waitress going out of her way to suggest some dishes for us since it was our first visit. We had a truly enjoyable evening and highly recommend Palki to everyone!

Characteristic restaurant and very attentive service with explanations on the type of ingredients and combinations according to tradition. I really like the Indian cuisine (especially the lamb) and it will be a point of reference for the next time I return to Vancouver. Very varied menu, even for vegetarians. One of the best Indian restaurants in North Vancouver perhaps the best, because I can’t think of any others. We’ve gone here a few times for takeout, but this time we dined and ate from the buffet. Not as much selection as you’d see in larger Indian restaurants, but enough to fill your plate. Cost was $20.95/person because it was a weekend/holiday (weekdays are cheaper).

Food and service of a high standard. One dish better than the next, from the starter to the curry to the biryani rice a true triumph of flavours and relaxation. We enjoyed everything slowly and were carried away by the accompanying Indian music. The service staff explained to us the details of each dish and how best to enjoy it. Highly recommended

Tasty food in a nice environment, but the prices are very high, especially for the tandoori and vegetable dishes like dhal. The prices for these basic items are so high we would simply not return as you feel cheated. A bowl of curried lentils should not cost $15, this is a clear rip off.
