The burger was enormous—at least 2.5 pounds! Surprisingly, parking was a breeze; I managed to fit my entire 63-foot semi-trailer in the lot without issue, nestled perfectly between two Priuses. They even offered valet service! I spotted Jeff Bezos parking his helicopter on the roof, which they promptly took care of, flying it over to the Leaning Tower of Pisa across the street. The chocolate shake was made with Ghirardelli chocolate, and I watched the chef hand-whipping the cream right there in the kitchen. They even picked a cherry from the maraschino cherry tree in the back for a perfect finishing touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! I’ll definitely be coming back for breakfas...
Pam and Nick are the best! I have been going there for at least 9 years now, although it doesn't feel like it's been so long. My grandmother introduced Me to Papa Chris' place, at least in 2014, a couple years before her passing, if not a bit before 2014.The food is top-notch, the staff are friendly, and screw that guy whose review said otherwise! I only go maybe a couple times in the summer, while I'm up from Florida. Not only am I amazed that they remember Me, but I also see and hear their interactions with others. They put family in family business.I cannot suggest this place nearly enough!Dietary restrictions: If you ask them to hold whatever you can't have, they will.
If you want some original style Italian beef sandwich, with a mix of 80’s atmosphere, I HIGHLY suggest papa Chris’. The price is more worth than other big chains, and the curly fries are amazing. Put that with a side of rice pudding and it’ll be one of the best Chicago meals you’ve had.

The food is excellent, and the staff are wonderful. Service is consistently quick and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.
