This place is seriously amazing!! It was me and my partners first time eating Malaysian food and we loved it! I have many allergies so Asian menus are extremely daunting for me however Papparich has everything clearly labelled and even an allergens menu!! I will post a photo. We dined at the back of the restaurant at a window seat which was lovely viewing the busy city from the window and added ambiance. The ordering system is actually the best system I've seen. You read through the giant menu and write down the number you want on the paper supplied, when you're ready to order, you press a buzzer at your table and within 10 seconds a waitress was there to take it. There's no reservation at this restaurant. You just turn up and queue for a table. We arrived just after 12 noon and there was a short queue; though they just fitted us in with a window view! However, during the course of the lunch, there was a band playing right outside our window, so it didn't always make talking/listening easy. The restaurant provides a note pad where you select the food you want by writing the reference number and quantity required. When you have made your choice, you just press a button on the table and the waitress comes and collects your selection. I have walked past this restaurant several times but always thought it was an Italian Restaurant. This evening I saw people in the outside area eating rotti and curry and so I looked at the menu. I was surprised to learn that it was a Malaysian restaurant!I ordered the chicken and rice noodle soup. The broth was really good and it came with a little bit of steamed chicken, some bean sprouts and two prawns and a little chilli. While it was tasty, I would have liked a little more chicken. Visited Papparich in Brisbane for a weekend lunch with family. We had tried numerous Papparich branches around Melbourne where we live and found them to be relatively consistent. This one seemed to be a bit of a let down, we ordered the roti canai, prawn noodle soup and some Hainanese chicken noodles. The only dish that was worthy of 5 stars was the deep fried chicken skin. The wait staff got or orders wrong as well and brought us two extra dishes that we declined. The experience was relatively pleasant with pretty good food.

Ate here in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year and discovered it in Brisbane by chance. A franchise so you know you get the same delicious food each time. Order by photo and number. Press a button on your table. The wait person takes your completed order and food and drinks are delivered. Great selection. Vegetarian Options. Some drinks opt as a dessert as well. We had the Biryani Rice and Chicken Plate ($16.90) and Beef Rendang with Roti Canai .($15.50) Excellent.
This was my second visit to this place and i was good as the first time. Their menu offers a lot of options to choose from which is always a great feature at a restaurant. The food tasted good and I didn't have to wait for a long time to get served. I also like that you get to write down your order and ring a bell once you're ready to order. Have been twice now and both times have been extremely disappointed. Chicken was extremely dry and seemed to be a very poor cut. Dumpling literally tasted like cardboard struggled to swallow them. Working in hospitality it makes me think that their meals are mostly microwaved hence the lack of flavour and how dry they are. Certainly won't be returning anytime soon.
We loved Pappa Rich when we were in Penang and we're very excited when we found it opened in Brisbane, shame the prices aren't the same as Malaysia.

When you come up the escalator at the Winter Garden and see the line up to PappaRich, it's pretty obvious that there's something special here.
Fairly good food, slightly pricey but understandable as its in the City.
