My husband and I were back once again yesterday. I had to try the Blackened Red Snapper which was a special. It was prepared perfectly with a crawfish cream sauce and accompanied by delicious mashed sweet potatoes and very yummy string beans. (The dish came with asparagus but I don’t digest asparagus well. I had to take half of the dish home with me because I had their excellent shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and I was very full. My husband had the short rib ragu pasta which was also excellent. Honestly, never had a bad meal at Park Place and look forward to coming back.
We really enjoyed our dinners. They were delicious and plentiful. I had a few minor problems. There was a party so we had to sit on the terrace. Having to change our schedule, because booking times were few, then getting no place in the dining room was not a good introduction. Our waitress brought me the wrong supplement. The bill has charged us $60 for an item on the menu that is at $34. Not good! But as I said, our ducks were delicious, well presented and plentiful.
Well we have been coming here for many years and they never disappoint. The food is delicious the waitress staff always there to make sure we have everything we need. On saint Patrick’s day the corned beef egg rolls were outstanding. This week we had the coconut shrimp tacos,they were scrumptious. Then my favorite flounder and my husband had the special snapper with clams and shrimp over pasta. He loved it! We keep coming back for more delicious specials of the week!
Always a treat eating here. We’ve made it our weekly go-to dining place. There’s usually something on the Specials menu that we want to try but if there’s not, there are so many items on their regular menu that are delicious. Clams Casino and Shrimp Cocktail are always great. Burgers and Sole Meunière, fabulous! Service is excellent! Love it here.
During the real March Madness, they had women’s NCAA basketball on very TV, no golf, no men’s NCAA basketball on. Someone needs to pay attention to the tvs. Been going to Park place for years. Was disappointed with tv selection. Everything else was great.
Great place. Wish there was a bigger sign out front. Drove by it twice before realizing what looked like a private house was the restaurant. Went as a late lunch. Place was not crowded. Can’t account for noise level when it’s crowded.
Large neighborhood spot....nice menu selection. Can do something better with the service, net came out while we still ate apps, cleared net while people still eat. Otherwise everything was good.
Love this place Big Barkeeper. Friendly and fun atmosphere.
