This place was as good as I hoped. We saw Rogers TikTok and said, "This looks like a great deli. We have to try when we go to NJ”. Today was this day and it was excellent. Sandwiches were quite expensive and they were filled with meat, cheese and vegetables. Bread was also very fresh and the fresh mozzarella was excellent! We took the sandwiches back to CT to eat them and they were great even after a 2 hour trip back in a cooler. My youngest daughter got a meatball lower part that we heated in the air frit and these meatballs were delicious. I think I'm going to take the next subway. One word summarizes food and staff: Great. After seeing The Deli Guy on TikTok, I wanted to look past this Deli when I made the Trek from New York for every event downstate. I have the Chicken Parm Sub and it was amazing. It was a fresh cut with homemade sauce and fresh mozzarella on a beautiful Italian role. Not only that, everyone was great and friendly. If I'm back in this area, I will definitely order from here. I recommend this Deli.
“Homemade drinks” in the fridge are Twister and other name brands poured into generic containers for years. Something you’d see in a Patersonbodega except you’d actually be getting a deal there. Doubt it’s legal but all the cops eat for free! Sandwiches are usually okay. Pizza is terrible. Would rather have to drink the coffee from Wilkes on glen than go here anymore.
10/10 I don't even know what to say, we had the chicken stall and the Parkwood. The bread, the deli, the parm! Everything was extremely fresh! I had sandwiches everywhere! Here is #1! This summer again a trip down! From Canada. The hype is real! Look at the DELI-GUY!
Stopped by for sandwiches, noticed staff was unboxing/packing supplies then making sandwiches without hand hygiene or gloves. Asked to cancel my order and was told I can remake them with gloves if you want
Meh, not sure what all the hype is about just because of some social media. Decent deli but definitely better options in the area especially when factoring in the questionable service most times.
I love the Parkwood sandwich. Lots of great sandwiches AND a solid pizzeria within the deli. Great little duo and very popular w townies.
Your not going to leave with just one thing. Awesome place and owner and hey the food is to die for.
