Horrible tasting food or No taste at all. We haven't been there in years, tried it yesterday, but won't go back. It was a waste of money! The only thing that tasted pretty good was the Reuben but the pastrami sandwich was dry, fatty, and didn't tastegood. The rye bread in the sandwich was too small, the potato salad had no taste at all, the potato pancakes were so dried upand lumpy, there was maybe only one bite we were able to take from the center of it but it was so hard that we had troublebiting into it and we couldn't even eat it at all. We ended up throwing it out. Terrible, terrible food. We were highlydisappointed.
Just superior. We don?t have deli often but when we do, we want the best and we got it today at Pastrami King in Merrick. The sandwiches were stacked beyond belief. The bread was amazingly fresh, the coleslaw and pickles just delicious and of course theDr. Brown?s Cel-Ray is always a favorite. Our waitress was delightful and I greatly appreciated the way the restaurant separatedtables to keep people from sitting on top of each other in this Covid environment. Could not have been happier ?. major kudos tomanagement in the folks in the kitchen.
This restaurant is fantastic! They offer potato knishes, spinach knishes, and of course, pastrami knishes—all of which are definitely worth trying. The staff are really kind people. When we realized something was missing from our order, a man came out and informed us in the parking lot. We returned, and they generously gave us a special treat for the oversight. It's definitely a place worth visiting!
I go about every 10 days to two weeks to pick up for pastrami sandwiches. They have always been five start until my last visit. And the sandwich was drying out horrible horrible horrible forget about the spinach knish. It was horrible, horriblehorrible. Hopefully some manager will read this and get back to me. I should after all these times going to be rewarded with abetter sandwich on the house.

I always make sure to stop by this place whenever I'm in Merrick, Long Island. The sandwiches are packed with flavor and absolutely delicious! The owner is actively working alongside the staff, who are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly love this restaurant!
Pastrami Sandwich (very generous portion) was excellent. Beef barley soup also excellent. Stay away from potato pancakes. The pancakes were hard, greasy and had very little taste. They didn't do anything for my pallet.
We ordered pastrami on rye, and the pastrami was abundant and sliced thin. I had the matzo ball soup, which was delicious. The grilled chicken salad I tried was also very good. Overall, I'm very grateful for the meal.
At the suggestion of a friend we went here for brunch. I have the Pastrami Knish and it was hot, well prepared and as good as suggested. We will be looking to use this spot for events in the near future!

My family and I are huge fans of Pastrami King! We were thrilled to discover that there is one located near our home. Their pastrami on rye sandwiches are top-notch!
Had takeout. Off taste matzoh balls. Pastrami to lean for my taste. Chicken liver very gritty.
