Patumma Thai Cuisine is by far our favourite Thai restaurant. The service is always fantastic and all the food we ordered (which we ordered a lot of since there was a big variety of Thai dishes we couldn't decide!) Two of our favourite dishes was the Pad Thai & Barramundi with fresh green mango salad but really, everything we had there was fresh & delicious. Not only was the food delicious but the room itself was so beautiful and they decorated the place very well. The lovely owner plays Relaxing music which came all the way from Thailand (and the singers sing in Thai which adds too the whole experience). It really felt like I was in Thailand. I highly recommend this establishment!!
We were met by the owner with a warm welcome and had the special privilege of going into the kitchen and meeting the Thai chef . I was impressed with the array of vegetarian meals on offer. All three meals came out hot and were well presented. The owner also treated us to sticky rice and ice cream.The wine list varied in prices and would meet individual tastes. Parking was available on the premises but abit tricky to find the restaurant on a busty road.
This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem. Though the decor is simple, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. It's a family-run restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The Sea Star, larb chicken, and fish cakes were all delicious starters. The deep-fried king prawns and steamed barramundi were excellent main dishes. They also have a small but good selection of wines. Don't judge this place by its appearance - it's definitely worth a visit!
So pleased to discover this little place. When you go in and hear the owners speaking Thai it's a good sign, and we weren't disappointed. The menu has some traditional favourites such as Tom yum soup (which is spicy and fragrant, not sweet) and some seasonal specials such as chicken and pork dumplings with fresh asparagus, and snow pea salad with shredded coconut. We have just found this little beauty on Payneham Rd. The food was amazing we had the Barramundi and the snow pea salad- it was so scrumptious and very authentic! They even did a great noodle dish for my 5 year old which he loved. Try it you will not be disappointed. Really looking forward to trying other menu items.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and we are so glad we did. The traditional Thai food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The Barra dish was particularly impressive. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Patumma Thai is the absolute best Thai food in Adelaide! My friends and I had a mix of entrees and mains and the portions were generous and all flavours were exquisite!! The manager is the sweetest lady too. I can't wait to go back.
I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. The Sea Star Signature dish was full of flavor and the Barramundi with Mango salad reminded me of the delicious flavors of Thailand. I highly recommend trying it out. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
after returning from Thailand and eating the local cuisine I wanted more I went into a small, picturesque restaurant with great food and service brought me back to Thailand with its authentic dresses
