Highly recommend PAUL, an old (depuis 1889) AND contemporary bakery. Freshly baked croissants and baguettes throughout the day plus a full array of delicious pastries and sandwiches. Tables available outdoors in the open mall area, and coffees to stay or go. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. My favorite bakery in Chartres, after shopping at several during the week we were here.
Good Paul, impeccable service and quality products. Well located but the building is sharp inside and badly arranged it is an old house. Because the interior atmosphere is far from what you can have in other stores in the ensign elsewhere. Bons toogod to go.
Excellent sandwiches and salads. Tasty lemon tart and pasties. (I especially liked the Chausson de Pomme. Killer hot chocolate like drinking a candy bar, yum. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating. We'll be happy to stop again when we visit Chartres!
A Paul like others, or the staff is friendly, smiling with a touch of humor! The hot chocolate is delicious, the only small flat, the chairs eat standing stained, which give little desire to sit on... Except that everything is perfect Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
