This is not Mexican food. It was the worst food I've ever had! If I could it a zero I would. The salsa was like watered down tomatoe sauce. I ordered a chili relleno and was told it had a fresh chili pepper When it arrived it was canned, wrapped in anegg that was fried like an omelet There was no battered coating, the refried beans were petrified, the rice tasted like it wasburned and scraped from the bottom of the pan. My brother ordered a chili verde burrito, it was equally bad, the green sauce waslike a lukewarm tasteless gravy. The only thing that may have been ok were our dinner salads but they forgot those so will neverknow Save your money!!!

Paula?s is a St. George classic. I?ll be honest, if you?re looking for authentic Mexican food with bold and unique flavors you?re best to go somewhere else. However, you have to consider that Paula?s is a 1970s Mexican restaurant in a small Utah townthat probably had no other Hispanic food when it was built. It?s kitschy but full of history and good people. The service isalways excellent and the view is fantastic. I love the food (probably because I grew up eating it), despite it being very basic. For a lot of people in St. George, visiting Paula?s is a tradition. I make it a point to visit Paula?s whenever I?m in town.

I began visiting this restaurant in 1980 when it was situated at the other end of town, just off the Boulevard freeway exit. The food has remained consistently excellent, providing great value and authentic dishes. I've always been a fan of the refried beans and chili rellenos. The enchilada sauce is made from scratch and is Paula's own recipe—it's truly fantastic, along with the salsa. Overall, it's a fun place to dine.

You could definitely tell the food was created by non-Mexicans. It was extremely bland, and they don't serve any alcohol either. A Mexican restaurant without alcohol? Really? It's hard to believe that this place can survive in a city where locals aren't familiar with authentic Mexican cuisine.

Chips were hard I ask the waitress if they had softer chips she brought us so more but they were the same, the chicken in paulas special was hard to chew. Was just very disappointed with our meal, it was my birthday dinner was looking forward to the mealswe used to get there but not this time.

You can definitely tell that the food is made by white people. Food was beyond bland and they also don 't serve alcohol. A Mexican restaurant that doesn 't serve alcohol???? PFFFTTT!!! They 're in a city where locals wouldn 't know Mexican food sothis place remains open.
