I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered. The marinated soup had a rich umami flavor, comparable to that of several well-known restaurants in the Chinese district. In fact, I think your restaurant's flavors are even better. My elderly family members remarked that it reminded them of authentic Shanghai cuisine. The four-for-one deal is fantastic—affordable and delicious!
Inexpensive, but food is average. Food too salty, but service was slow, but quite pleasant. The best thing was the scallion flat bread. Ordered salted pepper spareribs, scallion flat bread, shredded pork with celery and beancurd, kungpao chicken, broccoli with fish filet and beef with eggs.
Has been my family's go-to ChineseRestaurant for years however today 12/16/23, it appears with a new name (QCL Shanghai Restaurant)...Same/very similar menu, same location, same excellent service!

A special Shanghai restaurant hidden in a corner. The lunch specials are very affordable and the taste is very authentic.
While the atmosphere is sort of run down and very basic, the food is very good. Flavorful, fresh, and authentic.
