I had cod chips, my son had battered sausage chips and my daughter had nuggets and chips. Pros: The chips were decent, as were the nuggets. Cons: Slow and unfriendly service Cod was thin and the batter tasted foul, a real pungent chemical taste to it. The battered sausage suffered the same fate as the cod, being coated in foul tasting batter. The portion sizes were small. The wait was longer than expected. I think he uses the local sewage contaminated sea water as an ingredient in the batter, it really is that nasty! Dine here at your own risk folks!
Leysdown has a rather large sea wall , if you walk down the main strip you’ll find it located right at the very end. If you stand on the wall and jump face first onto the concrete slab below when tide is out you could potentially put yourself in a coma. Once in the hospital due to being in comatose state the NHS will tube feed you. This will work out cheaper and more tasty than the absolute slop they call pie and mash Service: Take out
Ordered for a collection. Pie mash, cod, chips and sausages. Absolutely beautiful the whole lot. Really generous portions. Much better than the chip shop not far from there. Would happily use again and would recommend Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
The service at this restaurant is awful, they seem to have no concern for what they serve to their customers. I only tried their take-out service.
