I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! The menu offers a fantastic variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the ample outdoor seating available both at the front and the back, with a lovely view of the church in the rear. The garden was a hit with the kids, and I appreciated that there were plenty of high chairs available as well. One downside is that there's no dedicated parking lot, so you have to find street parking. Additionally, there's a step at the entrance, which was a bit challenging for me since there were no handrails, but others seemed to manage just fine. Overall, the price per pers...
One of our dogs insisted we stop in today for some coffee, and we're so glad she did! It’s a charming spot with a welcoming host and excellent coffee at a reasonable price. During a quiet weekday evening, I enjoyed a great selection of beers at the restaurant. They offer special dinner nights and gin promotions on Fridays. The food was very affordable, served in generous portions, and tasted delightful. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I’m definitely planning to return.
I spent the night here and it was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I ordered the fish with homemade chips and mushy peas, followed by sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and I was definitely not disappointed. I will certainly be coming back! Just paid my second visit here. Both times, food has been excellent. It is reasonably priced, with a good choice on the menu. The atmosphere is very family friendly, and the staff are very attentive, without being overpowering. Looking forward to my next visit
This is a cozy pub that offers a Sunday carvery. I couldn't stay for long, as it felt too much like just sitting at the bar. We visited in the summer and enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden, which was beautiful. The pub is also dog-friendly.
went here for a 50th birthday, staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make it a special day. food is excellent and reasonably priced. very nice atmosphere and great beer garden. will definitely go again.
