The service was incredibly slow and the food took forever to arrive. The appetizers were served at the same time as the entrees. My steak was overcooked and the wings that were supposed to be mild were very spicy. There were multiple communication issues. The server mentioned she had instructed the cooks on how to determine the doneness of a steak. I would not return to this restaurant, but our server Andrea was very pleasant and apologized for the poorly cooked and prepared food.
First time having dinner here after hearing good things. Left very disappointed. First the were out of there roasted chicken dinner. they were not busy at all). Waited over an hour and a half to get food, when food was brought out steak was under cooked, side salad was brought out at the same time as my dinner. Ask for ketchup and was given an empty bottle. Waitress had an addittude and was snotty when told we no longer wanted the meal. Would not recommend, will not be going back.
Service was not great-waited a long time for a beer or water. Our waitress didn’t know anything about the beers-it’s a brewery ?. It took 45 minutes to get our food but we were not comped anything not even a drink. They told us what we ordered takes a long time to prepare but that is not on the menu or explained to us. Food and beer were mediocre and it wasn’t cheap. Will never go back there.
There was 2 total tables, a 6 top and a 2 top and it took over an hour to get our food. The steak was “cooked” correctly, but the meat was tough and had no flavor. Tasted like it was potential old meat, I took two bites and was done the waiter didn’t refill drinks, nor did he ask how our meal was, the service was poor overall. Live music on the patio, killer burgers, outstanding service, great drink selection, an excellent room, and they grill a mean steak, too.Love this place. Jamestown's best kept secret, too. Open when literally nothing else is. What's that? Everything in town is closed because it's Monday? Pearl City is open. Totally my go-to when I'm in town now.
I brought 2 of my girlfriends, to celebrate their birthday on June 8-9.I can't rave enough about what a great time we had at Pearl City Hops. I always stay at this hotel when I'm in New York because of its cleanliness and location. But Pearl City Hops is always the “corner on the cake” of my stay. Wide range of food and drinks and service is always amazing. If you are in Jamestown, Pearl City Hops is a good choice for some delicious food and good drinks!
The food was great. We had fish tacos, a burger and the fish plate and all were very good. This was some of the best food we have found in the area. Our only complaint was the hotel vibe. The atmosphere was too sterile. On the plus side it was quiet and we didn't have the shout at each other. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is a lovely hotel restaurant that is nice and clean. There are TVs with sports playing everywhere. The fish and chips, Caesar salad, and salmon were all delicious. Our server was lovely. Although there was live music outside, we chose to sit inside for the air conditioning.
