We had Christmas and New Years along with a Birthday party during December and January and purchased dozens of oysters in 5 dozen lots during and within a month. Everyone at the family get togethers and the party was very grateful to the Local Family who are proud owners and run their own business and have so ever since I can remember and we all to went to school together. The oysters are so fresh, one would think you were sitting beside the river whilst the person opened them. They have a lingering taste that can only be described as heavenly delicious and everyone enjoyed them. I went back to get more but only found an empty tray of ice where they once sat, beckoning me to eat more of them...
We bought 2 dozens of the large Clyde River Oysters to go and the lady at the shop was very nice to provide us with shaved ice to be placed in our cooler bag. It was also reasonably priced and $14 per dozen. 2 hours later, we're back in Canberra and the we had the oysters for dinner. I must say that they're very tasty and rich in flavours.
If you are into seafood this is the place to go. None of the usual smelly fish odours. The place is spotless. The oysters were being opened as I stood at the counter, and I paid $14 for a dozen monsters. Discovered on our last day otherwise we would have taken advantage of all of the freshest seafood I have seen. A must try
I decided to check this place out after reading the reviews on this site. Oysters are well priced and were delicious. There is a small space to sit and eat the oysters but this place really functions as a fish shop. If I am down this way again I will definitely be going back.

Great place to buy oysters and other seafood! We got a couple of bags of oysters which were super fresh - we were still shucking them two weeks later. The fresh local Coila Lake prawns were excellent value and very delicious. We always come here first to buy seafood.
Whilst we were here on holidays we went three times and very happy on each occasion. the Clyde river oysters were fresh and tasty, the local ling and prawns were all fresh. the staff were very helpful, so if you plan on grabbing some seafood...More
I have lived here for 15 years and always buy my oysters here. I've tried the other local merchants and none compare to the Pearly. Sooooo fresh! When in season, I buy the native oysters, even better. Yum!
We go to north st to the oyster bar every time we go to the coast we buy fourty oysters for sixteen dollars what a bargain and we get our prawns there to .not bad for the south coast

Clyde river oysters are among the finest. Lovely fat oysters at a good price. Well recommended we allways go there
