I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner and boy! was it a good choice. It looks unassuming and is stuck in the middle of a residential area on the corner of the road. The tables and seating are fairly basic steel and the interior plain, but the food is outstanding. It is a bit like a tapas bar where you order a set of dishes which come when the chef has finished cooking them. He cooks over a grill which is fuelled by wood and I think this is what makes the food so delicious. There is a choice of 5 small dishes, about 10 large dishes and about 4 dessert dishes. We ate here in December for a work lunch and again in February for my birthday. When we returned in Feb the head waiter remembered us as soon as he saw us and then proceeded to give us an amazing evening, again. He truly understands the art of good hospitality and he made my birthday really memorable. The food is always amazing and the setting is lovely. I feel so lucky to have this as my neighbourhood restaurant, but if I didn't, I would definitely travel to eat here.

The first thing you notice are the tantalising smells on the street. Then it's the welcome you receive. The food is delicious too. Courgette fritters are cheesy and salty and perfectly accommodate with the fresh garlicky salad. Delicious tarama. Tried a new cheese; mezhithra (I think that's how it was spelled) yum.

This is easily the best restaurant meal I’ve had in a long time. We had four sharing dishes and each was absolutely delicious. The chicken thighs in particular were a standout for me. And fantastic, friendly but not overpowering service. Definitely my new favourite restaurant in this neck of the woods.

A fantastic meal; best Greek salad ever and I’ve spent months in Greece. Heritage tomatoes in off season were best I have tasted in years. Lamb was beautifully tender; chicken dishes succulent and fresh from the open grill. One of the best meals ever in London, great service and ambience.
Definitely the best food I have eaten in a very long time. Every mouthful of everything we tried was insane and the desserts we wont forget. I've lived in Camberwell all my life and can't believe we have such a gem on the door step. Will be or new local.

Tucked away gem in Pekham. Understated but undoubtably some of the best food in London. Unbelievable service as well from Louis. Can’t wait to come back.
