A fantastic local spot! After attending a wake at the funeral home, my family needed a place to grab a bite to eat, and we found Peggy Dempsey's. They offered a wonderful range of dishes at reasonable prices. The food was outstanding, and our waiter was extremely attentive. It turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience following a somber occasion, so we decided to return the next day after the funeral. Even though we arrived a bit early before the official opening hours, they graciously accommodated us again with delicious food. On a hot day, we enjoyed ice-cold beers, refreshing air conditioning, and burgers. Normally, I wouldn't check the bill, but I did this time and discovered that the bartender charged me for two extra beers that I didn't order. Furthermore, my burger, which I asked to be well done, was served rare. Overall, for 8 beers, a burger, and 2 shots, the bill came to $103, which I felt was too high for the experience. Not impressed.
I visited on Sunday and was warmly welcomed by our server, Jasmine. She made me feel at home the moment I stepped in! With a bright smile, she promptly informed me about their new menu. I ordered the chicken dumplings and crab cakes, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the quality of the food and the attentive service. I can’t wait to go back!
The tall woman with the curls behind the bar was unwelcoming to our group. Felt like leaving with my friends, but they insisted on giving this place a chance. Still felt uncomfortable at this establishment afterwards though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Best dining experience! I highly recommend it 100%. If you’re in the area, stop by for some beer and enjoy the delicious food!
Decent price, service is quick. Lots of space to move around. They have a DJ which was cool. Def recommend.
