The sub was amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Each sub is freshly made to order and served hot, ensuring a satisfying meal. The fries are also made fresh for every order, arriving steaming hot when my meal was served. As an east coast guy who grew up eating subs, gyros, Phillies etc…I have lived in Bellevue for 20+years and PennStation has the best subs in the area. Bar none. Have since they opened. They do it right- they grill it properly and don’t skimp on meat and toppings, the roll is awesome and the fries are the best and crispy. Why can’t anyone around here make a fry that crunches and is salty?!? Instead of mushy and cold? The guys running tonight are nice dudes and they take pride in what they do. I had a very disappointing experience at the Penn Station location in Bellevue due to the manager's disrespectful attitude. I was there to pick up a Grubhub delivery, but I found out that someone else had taken the order, and it never reached the customer. After contacting customer service, they directed the manager to remake the order, which is the standard procedure in such situations. Unfortunately, the manager refused and became increasingly rude, insisting that I was wasting her time and telling me to leave. I pointed out that she was actually wasting my time and complicating matters unnecessarily, and I suggested that she reconsider her attitude. Her behavior was completely unacceptabl...
When I went to the restaurant to resolve these issues, I was met with extremely rude staff who insisted I never ordered fries and that I had asked for plain sandwiches, which wasn’t true. The manager on duty demanded I pay again for the fries, claiming my original order didn’t appear in his system, even though I showed him the correct order on my phone. He argued with me and refused to fix the problem.
What happened to good customer service and valuing customers? I won’t be returning to this location and plan to contact the store manager. I also have photos of the fries I received after paying a second time.

The food is reliably good. I've never had a negative experience, except for the occasional omission of a condiment, but nothing major has ever happened. They are consistent in terms of being ready at the promised time and the taste of the food remains the same. One odd thing to note is that there's a markup of $3 to $4 per sandwich when you use a delivery service, so it's best to pick up your order directly yourself.
While slightly pricier than other sub spots, the flavor combinations here are exceptional! This is hands down the best Italian sub I’ve ever tasted, and I’d gladly eat it every meal. The banana peppers add an amazing kick. My orders are always ready quickly, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I’ve sampled other menu items too and liked them all, but the Italian sub really stands out!
I used to be a big fan of Subway, but now I absolutely love the subs at Penn Station. The staff is friendly, and they prepare fresh sandwiches. Their hand-cut fries are incredible!
