From start to finish outstanding! For context we stayed overnight for our anniversary! The welcome was lovely we were greeted by a lovely lady who was incredibly enthusiastic who showed us to our room where we were greeted with a personal message wishing us a happy anniversary. The room was beautiful. It opens up straight onto the courts yard. The shower is immense and I am going to email to find out where they buy their beds as soon as I have finished their review. Wow! Everything was perfect! The staff were very professional and friendly, and they had an excellent knowledge of the food and wine being served. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu, which was absolutely spectacular—I never knew carrots could taste so incredible! My partner ordered the meat tasting menu, and he said it was amazing. We could see the kitchen staff thoroughly cleaning up after service; it was so spotless that you could have performed surgery in there! I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Pensons!
Everything was so amazing, it’s so worth the trip. Food was out of this world, I feel like a kid opening presents every time the food was being served. Pairing wine was such a good idea , flavours playing in my mouth and it was just heaven. Service was absolutely superb! Learned so much from the Sommelier, he is very good. We just wished that we stayed over so we could enjoy the wine and the place more as it looks so relaxing. Definitely coming back.
Wow, what an incredible experience! The menu was fantastic, and everything we tried for lunch was delicious. The wine pairing was impeccable, especially the amazing Domaine Trigant de Boisset 2006 with the duck. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly, and everyone treated us wonderfully. We also enjoyed strolling through the beautiful garden to see where the food comes from.

We had a truly wonderful experience celebrating our friend's special birthday here. The welcome was warm, the food was exquisite, and the service was both professional and friendly. It was a lovely touch to explore the kitchen garden afterward. The trip through the winding country lanes was definitely worth it!
Gorgeous restaurant in what I think must be an old, tastefully converted barn. The food was outstanding the service informal friendly but spot on. We wanted a fabulous relaxed lunch so that we could catch up with friends that’s just what we got. Already plotting our next visit so see you soon Pensons!
Brilliant birthday celebration at lunchtime on the weekend. Just perfect and we were upstairs so had the use of the balcony in the sun. Food was sublime and the sommelier needs a medal for excellent wine pairing, very clever indeed. Brill was the best fish dish I've had in years....
Great meal. Absolutely delicious from the whipped, Parmesan topped butter to savory to desserts to chocolates and wine. Gluten free bread not in line with the caliber of the restaurant. Staff very friendly, but some of the servers needed a bit more training.
