Update to my review restaurant is much better now. I was immediately greeted and sat with friendly staff. They offer a great everything you can eat. I think it's under new management or property. Also there is a certain server that has been there for years, he is the best, very friendly promptly nice guy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. On February 16, I visited my family to visit my sons on February 18th. To celebrate February. He wanted the fried ice, Lol. I've been coming to this place for over 20 years and I'm disappointed. I love Pepes since high school and am now 56 years old, so you can say, love me for a long time, lol. Anyway, the hostess we had was just amazing. This restaurant recently changed ownership a few months ago. It used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, so I was curious to see how it would turn out. I think it's just as good now, if not better. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, the food is delicious, they serve alcoholic drinks, and the service is friendly and professional. Currently, there is no indoor dining due to the pandemic, but they have a lovely outdoor seating area. I would recommend this restaurant.
We were referred by a friend, and are picky about our Mexican meals, with that said. Absolutely loved this place. 1 of the last Pepe's around, it was like having a feast in my Grandmother's kitchen back in the day. Truly authentic flavors, and tender steak. Prepared multiple ways to perfection. Great specials. A friendly patient and knowledgeable staff. And a clean establishment on top of everything else. I Can't wait to return. Yours truly O~so Blanco
