That said, I still enjoyed my meal to some extent. The chicken grill seemed a bit hastily prepared compared to the past, where it was meticulously arranged. However, it retained that original, quality taste and was actually very delicious, just like I remember. It's nice to see that some good aspects of Pepe's have either been preserved or brought back by someone who understands how great and flavorful it was in the past, which explains why it has been around for over 30 years, since I was a child. Well done, guys!
I've been a vegetarian for 30 years and ordered a vegetarian pizza, but it was loaded with ham! There was no apology from the restaurant; instead, they sent a driver to verify that I wasn’t lying before offering a refund. Initially, they even wanted me to drive the pizza back to them. I will never order from them again—what a disgraceful way to treat a customer! Service: 1, Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
We have always considered Pepe's to have the best pizza in Worksop, thanks to their thick crust and generous toppings. However, today was our worst experience yet! The pizzas arrived with a thin crust and minimal toppings, and they were also burnt. After spending a good amount of money, we were really disappointed. This is definitely not up to the usual standard! Very let down.
By far the best takeaway in Worksop. I can only judge on the experience I’ve had from them but have all been fantastic. They’re very consistent with their quality and time scale on delivery. I ordered some food at 6pm. It's still not arrived at 8.47pm, in the end, after speaking with the manager, who was extremely unhelpful, clearly not bothered, we've asked for our money back!
