I arranged for a large group to eat in this restaurant while we visited from the city for a sporting event. it was the birthday of our trainer and we wanted to celebrate. I called well in advance, made a reservation for 26 people and explained that we would need separate controls from the family. I then called the day before to talk to the manager and confirm the reservation to ensure that they are properly occupied. despite my efforts when we arrived, there was only one person waiting for us, and they let our tables take off from a cool evening. fortunately they had set heating so we were in order, but no one told me that during booking and I would have warned the people in our party to dre...
Peppino's has been serving delicious Italian cuisine since it opened its first location in Lake Forest in 1984. Since then, they have expanded with locations in Mission Viejo, Foothill Ranch, and a pizzeria in Aliso Viejo. The Foothill Ranch location is the centerpiece of their operations and uniquely offers table service among the options available. It's a fantastic spot for business lunches or birthday celebrations during the workday. The terrace seating is particularly delightful on a warm spring day. The staff is consistently friendly, making you feel like part of the family.
Food was amazing. Service was Excellent. I enjoyed the live band that was playing. The only negative was a drunk woman another customer that was entirely rude and put her purse and jacket on the table we were sitting at telling her friend that the seat was open and to sit there. When there was a table that was really open on the other side of us. Just because a chair isn't being used does not make it an available for anybody to sit at while having dinner. Despite the womans rude behavior she soon became part of the evening's entertainment. All and all I had a wonderful time!!!!
a manicotti appetizer and it was really good and fill. although it was around 12, our service was very slow. the workers seemed over, cool environment nothing special, the bar is somehow hidden when they go to the left, that is where it is. I want to come back here and there are 5 stars next time when the service is better. had not received the broth, although they asked us 3 different colors, only thought to get them because they tried to sell us so badly on them and we had no interest in space wasting. they serve good portions. service was courteous, with taking out a rather unfriendly host who sat us close to the car full of used dresses, although obviously there was a better table near. the mushroom marinara was slightly watery. the Clam sauce spaghetti paired with white wine is however commendable. music is good. a nice place to hang around with friends. they want the terrace with the cool summer air and the star night.
The pizza at this restaurant is excellent. Based on another critic's recommendation, I tried the thin crust pizza topped with paprika, mushrooms, and fresh garlic, and it was fantastic. The service was satisfactory, with a very friendly waitress attending to us. The decor, however, is quite ordinary, and the tables are closely arranged.
very welcoming environment, going for the first time and the service was top notch! spend a lot of time eating our meals and always watching to check on us. a waiter gave us almost another table after we ate, hon! but I felt satisfied and very satisfied with the place.
