This restaurant advertised Hyderabadi-style biryani, but when I ordered the goat biryani, I was disappointed to find that they simply topped lamb curry with chicken biryani rice from the buffet. I even discovered pieces of chicken in my goat biryani. If I specifically order goat, I expect goat—not lamb or chicken. While many might not notice the difference, I certainly can. A simple solution would be to inform customers if goat is not available, as I personally dislike lamb. Aside from this issue, I found the food to be just okay, especially since there were no other options available after 2:30 PM.
I found myself craving butter chicken and garlic naan so I decided to swing by on my way home for a little treat and I'm so glad I did! We were excited to try this highly rated Indian food restaurant. We drove over for the day and it was to be our first stop in Columbia. First time eating here. We went on a Friday night to celebrate my daughter’s Birthday. Food taste was excellent but the wait time was long. They seated us near the entrance and the phone’s rang constantly the whole time, but no one answered any calls and the ringer’s were quite loud. We all had a headache before we got dinner. I ordered takeout of butter chicken with mild naan, and it was outstanding! The flavors were incredibly vibrant. The pickup took about 35 minutes. I would definitely give it a 10/10 and recommend it as some of the best Indian food I've had in South Carolina! Just a tip: if you prefer milder spice, you might want to choose a lower heat level, as their “mild” is closer to medium compared to other places.
Amazing taste and loved the spicy good and grilled chicken. We tried the non vegetarian mixed platter and its yummy. We also liked the naan’s and the biryani is spicy as Hyderabadi biryani and the staff was great except slow service sometimes but thats not a bad thing when compared to the food quality and reasonable prices
The best Indian restaurant in Columbia! The service is excellent, and they always provide fresh, high-quality food. The dining area is also spotless!
