When you call they don't answer their phone after at 9 o'clock so you drive by there and the guy at the front counter fights with you because you're asking him why they're not answering their phone yet the website says they're open till 10. highly disappointing, they lost 3 customers! While looking for a place to have lunch in the city, Phil's Pizzeria Syosset caught my attention with its menu and reasonable prices. What really persuaded me to try it, though, was their quick and thoughtful responses to reviews—especially about the credit card fee. I’m really glad I gave it a shot! The fettuccine Alfredo was excellent, the risotto ball was tasty, and the portions were hearty. If I weren’t planning to take home leftovers, I’d definitely be back tomorrow. It’s a pity I’m just visiting, because their specialty pizzas look incredible!
Was looking for a place for lunch while in town and Phil 's prices/menu looked good, but it was their spicy replies to reviews (mostly re: credit card charge) that convinced me to try them out. Glad I did! Their fettucini alfredo was great, the rice ballwas delicious, and the portions were big. If I 'm still not working on leftovers, I may return tomorrow... shame I 'm by myself onthis trip, 'cause the specialty pizzas look amazing!
The food was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Having the NFL game on was a nice bonus. I ordered a pizza and grilled chicken with paprika—both were cooked to perfection and served in hearty portions. The meal arrived promptly, and our waiter was attentive with drink refills. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Very disappointed today. I ordered a chick Francois and all it came with are 2 cutlet and a small pasta. All for 22+ dollars that?s just crazy. I?d be willing to pay cost increase but these portions are lacking sauce and food. I have a sinking feeling Iwon?t be back too bad food is ok. Better than some in the area.

So much food and all delicious. Authentic Italian food with large portion sizes. Extensive menu. Must return to try everything especially the pizza! Really enjoyed the penne alla vodka and rotini pasta dish. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Can?t wait to return!
Definitely one is my favorite pizzerias! They never fail to amaze me with their unique and tasty pizza creations! I love how they have a full service dining room, along with their great takeout service. A great place for a group of friends or family!

Delicious pizza, pasta, and salads! I enjoyed my first visit immensely. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is spotless. It’s an ideal spot for families and very welcoming to children.
All of the classics done right as well as some unique and inventive pies and dishes. Family run place doing it how it should be done. Can?t recommend highly enough.
