I have been dining at Pho 18 since it first opened (pre-pandemic) and have continued to be a regular customer ever since. Despite the numerous dining options within a 10-minute radius of my home, Pho 18 remains my favorite spot for delicious Asian-fusion cuisine. The food is fantastic, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. Whether I'm grabbing takeout or dining in, the modern decor adds to the overall experience. While Thorold may be a bit out of the way, a visit to Pho 18 is definitely worth it. I highly recommend trying the red or green curry dishes and the coconut smoothies - they are amazing! Enjoy your meal!
I really like the environment, there are lots of plants, feels like you are eating in the garden. Although the flavor is normal, the waitress was short with me, she asked me are you done, here is the bill when I was still eating. I said do I have to pay now. She said I am going to have my meal. She made me feel I had to finish my meal as soon as possible because she wanted to have hers. I asked for some bean sprouts and lime, she said they already put some in the bowel and asked me to pay more for one slice lime. The whole lime only worths 58 cents in grocery store. They also charge tea. Other pho restaurants offer free limes and free tea.
I really enjoy the atmosphere of Pho18, it has a bright and welcoming feel for customers. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and tidy, from the tables and chairs to the sauce jars. I decided to try the special pho with beef, beef ball, and beef pepitas, and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning, as I think the beef options are better than the chicken. Overall, I highly recommend giving Pho18 a try!
What an amazing experience we had this evening at Pho18. We were greeted with friendly smiles and sat right away! Our server Annie recommended I have W8, stir-fried Cantonese noodles and I’m so glad she did. I’ve had their pho before and it’s amazing but these noodles were so good. This is my ultimate favorite restaurant AND staff! They ALWAYS remember me by name and what I can and can’t eat! The food is amazing and the staff are awesome, friendly, patient and they go out of their way to make sure your order is fresh, fast, and exactly how you want it prepared. The hosts at this restaurant were wonderful for hosting a wedding shower. The food was fantastic and they offered a buffet and beverage service. The staff were kind and it was the perfect spot for the event. The venue was spacious, bright, and had convenient parking nearby. I even went back for a second helping of the delicious food.
They were happy to take a last-minute reservation for a large group.They were ready for us when we arrived, service was fast, personable, and excellent, and food was outstanding!Only thing missing from a full 5 stars was that the bills took a long time to sort out.We will be back in a month when we come for our next tournament!
Food was good, service was friendly and fast. I had the pad Thai and the only thing bad I would say about it was adding the Thai basil, it was not a good addition and I did have to ask for a lot more cilantro, which they gave me a bit more but still not as much as I would have wanted. Came here with some family for dinner. The food was excellent. The hardest part was deciding on something since there were so many options. Food came hot and flavourful. We all had excellent meals. We will be back again and again. Staff were fantastic too.
