The wait wasn't too long; a side plate of bean sprouts and basil arrived with my utensils in just a few minutes. A little while later, a bowl of pho was placed in front of me. Unfortunately, that's where the review starts to decline—what I got was a bowl with a few pieces of shredded chicken, noodles, and a sprinkle of sliced green onion. It was pretty much what I expected, but honestly, it reminded me of offerings from places like Pho Gia on Sandy, which are notably better. The real shocker was the price: my small chicken pho cost $13.95, plus tip. That's steep for what I got. I might return since it’s the only pho place in the area, but I can’t say I found it particularly exciting.
Came here with a friend who said this place was on his top 5 for pho. We were greeting pretty quickly upon arriving but after that the service was pretty slow. I feel like the wait after we put our orders in was pretty long. The prices were about average. I got the seafood pho and the flavor of the broth was really good, the noodles were also a good consistency. I did feel the actual meat was a little slim but overall i was pretty satisfied. I would come back again but I dont know know that it would be my first choice.
I visit this restaurant quite often. The portion sizes are generous; I usually get two to three meals out of one order. The pho is tasty, but I always enhance it with fish sauce, hoisin sauce, and lime. However, the service can be a bit slow, particularly for takeout orders. During lunch and dinner, you should expect at least a 30-minute wait for your to-go order to be ready, so make sure to plan accordingly.
This place was great! The pho had lots of meat in it (I got the #3) and unexpectedly the best boba tea I've had in Portland? Like seriously better than all the boba tea places I've had. Also I can say they definitely read these reviews and take them into consideration because WE dropped something on the table and the server came and cleaned it up mid meal, also they gave us our food extremely quickly.
I really really REALLY love pho. This place happens to be my favorite. The P.1 is great if you like meat,(minus the soft tendon), but if you don't like meat, they have vegetarian options aswell. If you like Thai tea, this place serves the best. Basicly you can't go wrong if your ordering off the menu here. They have a friendly staff, clean dining rooms and bathrooms. I'd give this place a 10/10
Normally this is my go-to place! Love the noodles and salad rolls. Today was a bad day. There was a piece of metal in my sandwich. Only found out after I took a huge bite.About the size of a toothpick (very sharp on one side). Called the restaurant and they offered to remake the sandwich, and everything is now well. Going to be more careful now when I get a sandwich from here!
This is an unassuming strip mall location, but the food is fantastic. Large portions and very tasty. Enough for lunch tomorrow. I only gave a 4 star because the tables were a bit sticky and needed thoroughly washed, which they did when we asked. We will go back here again. I forgot to take pictures of the food.
Nice Pho restaurant with plenty of space and friendly staff. Ordered to go, Pho tastes good and good portions of meat and noodles. They serve the real deal pho with all tripes and tendons which is usually unlikely in this area. Keep it up.
I live nearby and often hire Pho Sen 2. The food is good. Yeah, sometimes the waiting time is off. But I think these are good hardworking people who deliver a more than decent product.
