We had previously tried the banh mi and egg rolls from PhoSho Dough and were impressed by the quality, so we felt confident in choosing them to cater for our special day. First let’s start with the name! It’s so Bay Area I love it. I’ve ordered from here a few times and love that on lunch I can come down the street for some great food. In the past I’ve had the chicken pho and the veggies are so fresh! Another time I had the grass fed beef banh mi and it was delicious I always like to get peanut sauce for dipping. Today I had the fried egg roll wrapped in the spring roll! Y’all my back is never getting unbigged lol. It was so tasty. The flavor, the freshness and crunch just drove it over the top. A little uneven from ordering at the counter to the food itself. No question the chicken ramen was really good. Excellent broth. Loaded with chicken. The vermicelli bowl, however, was a little odd and nothing like the photos (or like the dozens ofother vermicelli bowls we'd experienced at other Viet restaurants over the years), so that was a bit disappointing. Very fine,generously filled rice paper rolls, and good fried egg rolls. Things are served when-ready and that kept it all fresh and theright temperature. Service after we ordered was very attentive. I wouldn't rush back, but if you're in the neighborhoodcraving a tasty bowl of ramen, I'd say give it a try.
Can't write strongly enough about this place. When I go to a restaurant, I usually look for three things: quality of food (healthy, tasty, fills me up), service, and price. This place checks all three boxes and then some.I highly recommend the fish spring rolls and/or the pork/shrimp banh mi. The pho is also really good. Almost every dish comes with a lots of fresh tasting vegetables and a generous portion of smoked meat.The guy who runs the place (Richard) is very friendly and makes the ambiance even better.This place could probably charge more for their meals given it's the bay area, but I am thankful that they don't.

Had a pork banh mi. Meat was great. Bread was a little too bread-y for my taste. Service was above my expectations for what seems, at first glance, to be a take-out spot. my go to banh mi in the east bay. Why? The size of the sandwich is ample; the meat is smoky and flavorful; veggies are fresh and high quality; service is fast (call ahead 10 mins), and street parking is easy. a great experience every time.
I look for the best Pho and look constantly for the best. PhoSho is worthy of a 9.1/10. I never broadcast my findings but feel that PhoSho should get a heads up!
