A gift certificate brought us to this restaurant for the first time. To be honest I had never heard of it and some of the reviews made us a bit spectacle. I called to make a reservation. When we arrived it was a small place but full and we waited about 5 minutes for our table. First impression was the smell of parmesan cheese I think. Four of us enjoyed dinner together Aug. 18/17 to celebrate a 93rd birthday. The waitress was fantastic. She couldn't do enough for us. Very pleasant and accommodating. We brought in a cake which she graciously put in the fridge until we finished our delicious meal. Then she checked with me as to when to bring it out and she even found a nine and a three candle which were lit when she brought the cake to our table and she joined in with the birthday song. First time here. The food was so tasty. Our waitress Shirley was very sweet. She informed us right away that it does take some time to get your order because everything is made fresh. Well, we didn't wait too long and our meals, well to die for. I had the gnocchi and it was to die for. My husband had the chicken limon with angle hair pasta another hit. The restaurant is small, quaint and delightful. The smell of great home poking hits you the second you walk in the door. Big thanks to put daughter Heidi and our son in law Darryl for the gift card (for Christmas) we will add this place to our must return. You will love it here.
Not recommended for those watching their weight, but incredibly delicious! This is the top restaurant in Windsor. Don't be put off by the plain decor - I was, until I tried the food. Absolutely amazing! I was in a food coma for sure. The service is excellent, although the food takes a while to come out because EVERYTHING is made from scratch, which results in insanely delicious food. The portions are huge, so don't worry about the price - you definitely get your money's worth. I ordered a plate of pasta and it lasted me for the next 3 days. I wish I had some right now. Holly's is awesome!

We love it here, make sure you have reservations you will be seated much faster if it is busy. It does take quite a while to cook the food but I enjoy it do to the fact it will be fresh and ready to be made by order. Huge portions are amazing, I love having leftovers. Garlic Fingers are also a must have, plus it's almost like you create your own pasta. We always have great service, friendly smiles and a wonderful meal!
Old Time Pizza at Piccolo's offers a pizza that reminds me of the ones I enjoyed in my childhood. The homemade dough creates a delicious crust, topped with real pepperoni and a flavorful sauce. While the pasta and other dishes on the menu seem enticing, I have trouble trying anything else because the pizza is so good.
The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing. While there may be a long wait, it is to be expected considering the high quality and freshness of the dishes. The portion sizes are large and the quality is excellent. I don't understand how some people can leave poor reviews!
10 of us enjoyed dinner tonight. The portions are huge and tasty. What made the experience was the exceptional service from Keaton. He is an exceptional waiter and please ask for him . A Windsor institution.

Definitely a wait involved for dinner. Portions are good, but comically enormous. Enough for 2-3 meals. This place must spend a quarter of their budget on takeout containers.
