Don 't waste your time; spend your money where people are happy. You come where they work. No one greeted me because all three ladies were looking at their phones. From the time I entered until I walked up to the register, finally, someone looked up, and I was instructed to go around the corner and see the menu. While ordering my pizza, the maker appeared annoyed that I was requesting more broccoli. She took one piece of broccoli and spent 30 seconds breaking it into tiny pieces; after she completed the first piece of broccoli, I asked her to add more. This is how she proceeded in adding each item. I was baffled and frustrated because I had never experienced this type of service at a pieolog...
I ordered for curbside pickup, parked and called the store, phone was busy, waited and called again nine times, still busy. I wasn 't dressed for going into the store, but was forced to. No one bothered to ask me why I was there, I waited near the register. There was a worker filling ranch dressing up behind the register with her back towards me, I called out 'Excuse me ' twice, no response, so I went around and repeated 'Excuse me ' and told her that I had ordered curbside pickup and had called the store 9 times, she said nothing kept waddling about taking pizza out from the oven. Pieology has been one of our favorite pizza places. Unfortunately today's experience has put a dent in it. First of all, they changed the machine that makes the doe circular, and replaced it with something that's not working out, see the shape of my pizza, and it's slowed down the process. Then my pizza came out not hot it was like room temperature, I was like how in the world did that happen. Manager came out and explained that they adjusted the oven temperature and still testing with it. I don't know if all these changes are coming down from corporate or store owner, but if you don't figure it out quickly, business will drop. The pizza’s were flavorful and tasted great. The staff were very friendly and projected a positive attitude towards the customers. They demonstrated great patience when some customers were undecided and took longer than usual to order. With that said, the dining area floor was extremely dirty with food and other items scattered about as were some of the tables. Customers want to eat in an area which, is clean and well kept. Often times businesses use staffing shortages as an excuse for not maintaining a clean dinning area. There should always be time to ensure cleanliness remains at the forefront. This was the worst experience ever! My wife and I each ordered a pizza. Her pizza was good, but the service we received was terrible. The girl taking our order had a bad attitude and rushed us to decide quickly. My gluten free pizza was burnt and when I complained, they insisted that the blackened crust was not burnt, even though it tasted like charcoal. They need to focus more on the quality of their pizza and cooking times instead of chatting at the front. They did agree to remake my pizza and gave me a free pizza card, but it was expired. Definitely avoid the 4pm shift at this restaurant.
The service was terrible; they were rude to us, rushing all the customers in line and just trying to process the queue as fast as possible without really helping anyone. The pizza was ok, not burned but a bit undercooked. The topping was a bit clumped and not really spread out. There was a slightly burned smell to the pizzas. The drink counter was a mess. Ice was not disposed of, and the specialty drinks were empty and tasted off. Over all I have had better customer service and better food at other places, so no, I would not be recommending this location to anyone at this time.
You can't go wrong with the "make it your own" pizza option at this restaurant. The base pizza costs only $10.95 no matter how many toppings you add. The only issue I have is that requesting extra sauce on the side incurs an additional fee after the first request. This seems odd considering they offer unlimited meat toppings, which are typically more expensive than sauce.
I picked up our garlic cheese bread and pizza today and requested extra marinara sauce since they only provide one small container for the whole pie. I was surprised to find out that it cost $1 for extra sauce. When I arrived home, I discovered that the pie was burnt. Love you can pick so many toppings that are fresh and don't find at other pizza places. Always good.
