I live around the corner and wanted to try their food but the guys at the counter completely ignored me for 10 minutes because they were flirting with a female friend who wasn't buying anything for 10+ minutes. Even when I politely asked if I can place an order they ignored me. The only time they paid attention to me was when they were chuckling at me on my way out. WHY ARE YOU IN BUSINESS?
The roasted pork is a must try if you live in Boston or the area or visiting. The flavors are amazing and fresh to order. So be patient. The empanadas are okay, they are the flakey fried style. They have a lot of flavors.But the sandwiches and the fresh juice deserves more love and recognition. I think the sandwiches are better than the empanadas.
The food here is quite good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. If you're not Dominican, you might find that the staff ignores you until they're ready to take your order. If you decide to eat here, I recommend ordering online for pickup. The employees, particularly the young woman at the register, can be quite rude.
Delicious food! The empanadas were really flavorful. The place feels more like a shop than a traditional restaurant. The cashier was quite reserved, which made communication challenging, especially with the background music and noise coming from the kitchen. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5. When you order a sandwich here, they give you a LOT of food for a great price, and it's all cooked 100% fresh, bread and all which is a huge plus. Empanadas are always delicious, especially with the sauce they give you. Definitely come here if you're hungry. Nuff saidFood: 5/5
I was excited to try the food but felt a bit nervous after reading some reviews about impolite service. Luckily, my experience was fantastic, and the food truly exceeded my expectations. The chicken patacón was juicy and delicious, and the portion sizes were massive!
I've only had smoothies and pastilitos an they are both smacking ?. N the pastilitos aren't those tiny joints that you have eat 10 of. 1 or 2 will do you right.
