We first visited this place during the pandemic (Fall 2020) and were blown away by the quality and portion sizes of the food. We've tried almost every platter (which is ideal for 2-3 people who can't decide) on our visits, and we've never been let down. Don’t be misled by the prices; you receive an abundance of delicious food, making it worth every cent. Personally, I'm obsessed with the fried siaobao—I could devour several in one sitting. They have the perfect texture and the pork filling is absolutely fantastic. If I could, I would give this place more than five stars, but unfortunately, I can't. So I’m reluctantly giving Pinoy Grill a five-star rating, even though it truly deserves more....
This place was highly recommended by a friend so we decided to come here for my brother’s birthday. The place is cozy, clean and well decorated for the holiday season. They even have a nice fireplace! Unfortunately, even with the fireplace burning and a space heater we spotted near the door, the place was really cold. It’s hard to enjoy your food when you’re freezing. We got their platter good for 4 people, a side order of lechon and some halo halo. My family said everything was delicious except the milkfish seemed too salty. We also requested for the pancit to be meatless, but it had little pieces of pork mixed in. The food was absolutely delicious! I'm thrilled to find such excellent Filipino cuisine in the suburbs. Everything was freshly prepared and the prices were surprisingly low considering the quality of the dishes. This was even better than the Filipino food I've tried in Los Angeles and San Francisco. We ordered the chicken and pork barbecue, both of which were sweet, savory, and incredibly tender. The pork belly was rich, and the chicken adobo was packed with flavor. Great Taste Filipino Cuisine Located in Arlington Heights, the place has a relax vibes given it wasn’t too busy when I visited. The inside is somewhat limited in space but, they have outdoor patio in good weather days. The staffs are very attentive and will take the time to explain you what the food consists of if, you have little idea about Filipino “Street Food”. I always knew what shoepaw is, but never heard of fried version of it. IT-WAS-SO-GOOD! And the spring rolls were also excellent with vinegar. The barbecue items are the best IMO. I stumbled upon this fantastic local restaurant purely by chance, having never tried Filipino cuisine before. Chris, the owner, was incredibly friendly and guided us through the menu, offering some great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious! If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop by. We ordered the sampler platter, which included pork belly, mini egg rolls, fish, rice, and noodles—all of it was fantastic.
This restaurant is one of those hidden gems I stumbled upon while working in the area, and it has turned into a guilty pleasure I indulge in once or twice a month, despite being a 30-minute drive from home, all for the incredible pork belly. Seriously, you have to try the pork belly—it's absolutely phenomenal. A big shoutout to the super friendly host as well!
We visited this restaurant to celebrate two graduations and two birthdays, and we ordered the boodle feast. It was an outstanding experience! The owner was incredibly gracious, and the food was truly amazing. We will definitely be returning!

Wife and I drive down from Milwaukee, WI frequently to get our hands on Pinoy Grill’s delicious and authentic Filipino dishes and street foods! They always treat us like family and we are always impressed by their offerings.
