Pioik Bakery is a cozy cafe along Harris Street which offers an assortment of sandwiches, baked goods and sweet treats. Most of its baked goods were made in the morning and microwaved or reheated when you ordered them. I got myself Breakfast Pizza and a flat white. On the one hand, the flat white was scorching hot with an exceptional layer of foam and traces of espresso and milk. It tasted more like a cup of coffee-flavoured hot water. The breakfast pizza, which comprised pumpkin, walnut and fresh herbs, lost its vibrancy and flavour after X number of reheats. Plus, service was rude. Kam mit hohen Erwartungen, nachdem er große Bewertungen gehört hatte, und war sowohl mit der Qualität des Brotes und der Dienstleistung des Personals enttäuscht. Kellnerin hatte keine Ahnung von den Brot und war nicht daran interessiert, uns zu helfen, um zu entscheiden, was sie nach Hause nehmen sollen. Am Ende lohnt sich ihre Haltung nicht, damit der Umgang zu handeln, damit wir gegangen sind.
Came here with high expectations after hearing great reviews and was disappointed both with quality of the bread and service of the staff. Tolles schmeckendes Essen, leider nicht sehr guter Kaffee. Ich bin auch nicht allzu glücklich, dass das Frühstück in Einwegmaterial serviert wird MATERIAL anstelle von echten Gerichten. Nicht glücklich über die Menge an Abfällen, die dieser Ort machen muss.
Great tasting food, not very good coffee unfortunately. Also I'm not too happy about breakfast being served in disposable take away material instead of real dishes. Not happy about the amount of waste this place must make.
