I'd booked my daughter's 18th birthday at one of this venue's function rooms. We agreed on the party running from 18:00 to 00:00 with an option to bring our own food. Majority of the attendees were under 18. The party was going well until about 23:20 when my daughter was informed that the bar is going to close early (by about 40 minutes) and that they have to leave the venue. The kids quickly collected some of the food, some of it they threw away since they didn't have anything to pack it with. They were forced to wait outside in a cold, rainy weather until their unaware parents came closer to midnight. This restaurant is quickly becoming our favorite spot to dine at. The atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent. I ordered the garlic mushrooms and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size compared to other restaurants. The quality was top-notch and well worth the price. For my main course, I had the best Spaghetti Carbonara I've ever had outside of Italy. The food was served quickly and hot by friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant for any time of day, as I went for lunch and had a wonderful experience.
Came to this bar before Christmas and was not that impressed to be honest, but driving past and seen the ‘New Owner’ signs and thought I’d give it another try. What an absolutely amazing difference, the place was really fresh and clean, met instantly by smiling staff who really looked after me and my friend (Oly). Food is amazing quality and not a expensive in the slightest for the quality, I eat in a number of places and this one is without doubt as good, if not better, than some really big names!!
Since pioneer has been under new management it has become one of the best place for me and my family to come out for food all the staff are just lovely and the service is fab and very welcoming just love coming here and no as expensive as I thought it was going to be just live. It her if if love good serves and even better food this is the place to come

I brought my soon-to-be wife to this restaurant and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. The dishes were cooked and presented flawlessly. We can't wait to return and become regulars. They also have local music and a spacious room upstairs available for private party rentals.
We popped in looking for something to drink and for a catch up. What a fantastic place with great service, friendly manors and quality food and drinks. A brilliant outside area to enjoy the sun which is also clean and tidy. We recommend this bar if you are visiting or in the Crosby area in Liverpool
I had a not so great experience here the first time I came but decided to give it another go. It was such a terrible experience. Management are rude and do not care about complaints they have blinkers to their service and complaints !
We went to this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and were blown away by the amazing food and excellent service. Charlotte, our server, was top-notch. We will definitely be returning.

Came here with a friend and had 3 small plates each and it was delicious. Waitress Ada very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
