I recently had the pleasure of attending the Pirates Show in Buena Park and I must say it was an absolute blast! This show is truly a fantastic way to spend an entertaining evening with family and friends. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we were transported into a world of swashbuckling adventure and excitement.The show itself was incredibly fun and amusing. We went on a week night and had a lovely time as a family of 4 with 2 toddlers. We would definitely come again!Kid friendly: The venue was accommodating in providing us booster seats. The kids meals were the same serving size as the adult which was great! Before the show, the actors went around greeting everyone which was so fun. During the show, kiddos can be volunteers throughout to be a part of the show! And afterwards, the actors were available again for photos which was so special to the kids! Complete waste of money. I would never come here again. Booked a party of 15 for my son 's 7th birthday more than 3 weeks in advance. Facility seated us in location that had no visibility for 5 people in our party. They also seated us in a location that does not accommodate 15 people. When we informed them they brought and additional chair and told us to squeeze in closer or stated that that 's unfortunate . Asked to speak with Manager several times Manager never came out just instructed staff to let us know there 's nothing that can be done and they can 't relocate us. Terrible experience! This is a must do experience for grown ups and kids! We had a blast!Things to expectThis is a very interactive experience! My whole party was asked to participate. My daughter held the flag, I walked with a treasure, and my husband was asked to raise a flag. The pirates also come out before the show and interact with the guests. The whole experience felt very personal and special.There is literally no place to hang your purse. Mine had to go on the ground so I would suggest not bringing a purse if you don't want anyone stepping on it.The food was beyond gross. We had the chicken and it was okay. It was my Boyfriends and I first time going. We had so much fun . I took him for his birthday it was a Surprise he didn't know where we were going until I drove up. we were the first ones in line. So when I got to the window I asked the lady if i could upgrade out tickets to the treasure package. She said let me check with my supervisor and I mentioned that with my boyfriend's MBirthday so supervisor came in they were talking and then 10 minutes later she handed me our tickets she said here you go. It Was supposed to be 70 80 bucks to upgrade I was ready to give her my credit card shw said no it's fine .so the supervisor upgraded us for free.I thanked her and told her I really appreciate it....
My family had a wonderful experience at the Pirate Dinner Adventure in Buena Vista. The show was highly entertaining, and the performers engaged the audience several times throughout the evening. All four of my kids were given the chance to participate and help the pirates "win" and save the mermaid! While the food was average at best, I believe you're really paying for the entertainment. However, I did find the souvenirs to be quite overpriced; they could have easily charged half of what they did. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and my family would definitely return! Fun place to take the family while visiting Disney area! About a 10 minute Uber from the Disney hotels. The show is really fun to watch and they definitely involve the audience a lot! The food is so so, adults had a piece of chicken, mashed potatoes, and some veggies. Also had chips and salsa for an appetizer. Kids had a Mac and cheese and a little hamburger slider. I'd definitely recommend going for the entertainment!
The food was unremarkable. We paid extra for chips and salsa, and while we did receive the chips, there was barely any salsa to go with them. The service was average, but we did enjoy the entertainment. We were seated in the Red Section. The previews featured a dragon, but interestingly, it didn't appear in the actual show. I had the most amazing evening! I bought my ticket online and also ordered the onion rings, a turkey leg with mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Be warned: the turkey leg is huge and juicy—I couldn't even finish it! The complimentary chocolate dessert was quite good as well. I really enjoyed cheering for my green pirate as he won over the mermaid's favor!
