My husband ordered a shrimp po' boy, and I opted for a buffalo chicken sandwich, both served with fries. The po' boy was loaded with shrimp and packed with flavor, while the buffalo chicken sandwich was delightfully spicy and tasty. The atmosphere had a classic 1950s diner vibe, complete with a modern jukebox. Our server, Jessica, was incredibly friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with excellent service and delicious food.
Never have I ever had BBQ so terrible. The meat was dark and looked old as if it had been reheated. The baked beans were basically pork and beans from the can. Potato salad tasted store bought. Which isn't bad, but i expected more from a diner. Best thing on the menu was the water. The vibe is very 1950's ish with decor and design. Too bad the food didn't live up to the style! Not sure how this place has so many good reviews because it was a no for me... eat elsewhere, please.
What a cool place! We were on our way to a Livingston football game and found this place. The food and service were excellent (our waitress was new, I didn't get her name). Our food did take about 35-40 minutes but they were very busy when we got there.The owner came by our table and was very friendly. Our group had the grilled chicken salad, taco salad, cheeseburger andcorndog. If we are out that way again we will make another Pit Stop!
I have to say, the chicken fried chicken and onion rings were absolutely amazing! Whenever I have a craving for fried chicken, I know exactly where I’ll be heading. I usually avoid fried chicken because it’s my weakness, but this dish was worth it. The chicken and onion rings were delicious, and the portions were very generous! Our server was outstanding and incredibly attentive, with a wonderful personality. The food we had—the roast beef French dip, fries, and shake—was absolutely fantastic! We left feeling very satisfied and happy! The decor was excellent, and the owner was a very friendly guy!
Charming 50s diner with fantastic food! The staff is incredibly friendly. Owner Frank took the time to personally greet my daughter, my grandbaby, and me, as well as every other customer, ensuring everyone felt special and welcomed. It has a delightful small-town vibe.
Awesome place to eat when in Livingston. It’s definitely a local spot. The staff is friendly, the food is great and it’s got a really cool atmosphere. Well worth a visit whether local or passing through.
