The best pizza!! My family and I visited Pitruco over the weekend. We're excited to be working with the Pitruco team to cater our upcoming wedding, and we were delighted to be able to do a tasting ahead of the event. The pizza is extremely tasty! The pizza is perfectly cooked with crispy crust and fresh toppings. All of the pizza combinations are creative and delicious I especially loved the spicy garlic and sausage pizzas. I'm so excited to stop by Pitruco next time I'm in Philly and am even more grateful to be working with them for our wedding!
Ordered the mushroom pizza. They do dough well; blistering crust with the right amount of char and it's not too thick. But for a $14 pizza, I expect high quality ingredients. My toppings were primarily crispy onions which I'm not mad about (it's hard to hate fried onions), but no other mushrooms besides very thin slices of baby portabella mushrooms were legible. The taleggio was overwhelmingly cheddar tasting. I'll try the sausage if there's a next time.
I was hooked the very first time I went to Pitruco Pizza Franklin's Table. Pitruco Pizza Franklin's Table is a total gem of a find. Everything I've tried thus far has been delicious. The staff members ensured that I was helped and answered all my questions very politely and enthusiastically. I highly recommend Pitruco Pizza Franklin's Table for others.
My husband and I are quite particular about our pizza since we're used to Jersey-style. However, we were blown away by this place! The Margherita and Eggplant pizzas were absolutely delicious. Delicious pizza at Franklin's Table food hall in University City. Crust is wood fired and perfect. We had the sausage pizza for take out, which has great flavors. There are about 7 other types of pizza on the menu. Took less than 10 minutes to prepare and cook pizza. Highly recommend!
The dough is crusty, the tomatoes are fresh, the basil smells so good, what a good margarita pizza we had there, It was delicious. My husband took a pepperoni pizza and he licked his fingers! I will definitively recommande this place in front of the university.
This is the best pizza I've ever tasted! It features foraged hen mushrooms, honeynut squash, truffle cream, and Tussey Mountain Moliterno al Tartufo cheese. The dough is soft and fluffy, and it's absolutely bursting with flavor.
