Mangia's simple cheese slices have the perfect level of generously applied sweet and savoury marinara sauce, the right amount of salty stringy cheese that stretches apart with each mouthwatering bite, and the optimal crunchy toasted crust texture. The closest thing to my childhood pizza I'm surprised that with 33 years open, Google Reviews aren't abundant! I took my family from overseas on a NY pizza tour across the boroughs... but none of those fancy 9,000+ review spots (e.g. Joe's on Broadway can even compare to Mangia. Sorry:
My wife and I have been enjoying pizza together once a week for the past six years since we met. My cardiologist might not be thrilled about it, but honestly, I'd prefer to go out with a full stomach of delicious food. No matter where I am, I can confidently say that your pizza is extraordinary. The crust is top-notch, the sauce is amazing—it's a perfect ten! I love you, Mr. Mangia. Thank you so much for creating such joy in every slice. It's always a great experience.
Without a doubt, the best pizza in Babylon and any nearby city; I would even go so far as to say it’s the best in New York. I’ve ordered over 100 pizzas from Mangia, and each one has exceeded the last. Plus, the owner is truly wonderful. Great pizza, excellent food, and top-notch service. If I were on my deathbed, I would crave a perfectly made Mangia pizza.
Here on the way home from the airport, we live east and do not have good pizzerias near us, wish this place closer to us! Food was so good, we had a regular, Sicilian, straight a deep dish down pane. I never had an upside down slice before, IT WAS amazing!! I'd be here all the time if this place was with us!
