As the restaurant got busier, the service did slow down a bit, which was expected. An older man took our orders for starters and mains. When we asked for dessert menus, we were left waiting for about 20 minutes. Eventually, my husband had to call over our original server, as the one who took our main order was nowhere to be found.
Finally, a lovely lady wearing a headscarf brought us our desserts. She had a charming smile and was very polite. Overall, our experience would have been rated 5 stars if it weren't for the waiting and the lack of menus. To the new server: I used to work at a pizza express years ago, so don't worry, you will get there. You're doing great!
Definitely a lovely place to visit. Charming, neat and cozy. Staff attentive and friendly. There is no chaos around and tables are spaced properly to avoid feeling like you are sitting on a top of another group of people eating chatting. Make sure to get the app and look for a free appetizer (starter). My friends and I have been here 2 times now and loved it. Will come out to eat probably in May again since it is a middle point for our drive from our houses!
My partner and I have visited this restaurant several times, and Christopher has always been attentive in ensuring a great dining experience. Pizza Express is fortunate to have him on their team! I highly recommend trying the Fungi di Bosco pizza.
The restaurant has been recently renovated and has a fresh new look. The food quality remains consistently good, with some new menu additions. The staff is friendly and it's a great spot for a family meal.

Lovely meal here for a special occasion. Once they realised it was my husband's 50th, they surprised him with a special pudding and our waiter sang to him. Great touch.
Great fresh pizzas, has always been my favourite chain and service from Dominic was helpful and friendly
That was hands down one of the best pizzas I've had, doughballs were on point too!
We waited an hour for our food, they were rude and didn’t attend to us at all.
