This is my favorite pizzeria because of the combination of high quality and reasonable prices. I used to frequent their location on the main street, but the last time I went, the crust was disappointing and it tasted like eating plain dough. I haven't been back since. However, Pizza Transit is always a reliable choice. I particularly enjoy the decor, which provides something to admire while waiting for take-out orders.
I love the quality of their pizza. Definitely the best around. My only complaint is about the phone service when you call and order. I know yall are busy and in a hurry, but every time an employee has answered that phone, it seems like they don't want to speak to you. That you're an obligation to them. You can be in a hurry but be polite while doing it.
Without a doubt, the best pizza in Niles! Sarah and her staff go above and beyond for their customers. They even have vegetarian and vegan options for those of us with different dietary or lifestyle preferences. I have been dining here since 2004/2005 and it remains one of my top favorite restaurants.
While passing through the city, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. And we were not disappointed! The XL pizza had delicious cheese, just the right amount of toppings, and a perfect crust, all for less than $17. If you're in the city, you have to give it a try!
I really enjoy the pizza at this restaurant! They offer vegan sausage and vegan cheese options, as well as vegan twisted bread sticks. We also tried the fruit lime zone in blueberry flavor and loved it.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the vegan sausages and Miyoko's cheese were not listed on the menu, but they were available and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying them.
Pizza was great! Could have more a little in the medium 5 though, otherwise,PERFECT! crust was crispy and firm enough to pick up and not crispy and stretch cheese as I love it.
Pizza Transit has recently added Miyoko's mozzarella to their menu. They also offer vegan sausages and exclusively use Earth Balance butter in the kitchen.
