The deep pizza is what we came for, and it has not been disappointed! Also salad or bread sticks. Came for a late lunch and ordered in front of the phone as we heard that the deep dish pizzas take about 30 minutes to bake. The food was ready when we came there after 20 minutes, and everything was fresh! We have a 12 deep dish veggie pizza, and it was nice and loaded! Loading with cheese and sauce and fresh vegetables. My fiancée and his father really loved it both! I tried a piece too and it was good! The sauce had something special to her little extra taste I don't know what, but it was really good with everything else. Nice fresh pizza dough too. I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chic...
I want to start by mentioning that I lived in Chicago for the first 20 years of my life. I grew up eating deep dish pizza from Gino's, Giordano's, and Rosati's (which also has a location here in Omaha). The pizza here is pretty good, but in terms of being authentic Chicago deep-dish... not quite. My wife brought one home tonight, and I have to say, it was lacking in sauce and meat. The sauce didn't taste like a homemade recipe, more like it came from a jar. However, the pizza itself was thick enough to require a knife and fork, which was a plus. The Rosati's here reminds me more of the pizza I remember from Chicago. It could be a bit biased, as I have always enjoyed their pizza since before...
You can get the deep dish pizza for $15 each. It's a good value! It's got a great cheese pull and is pretty loaded with toppings. We ordered one that was vegetarian and one that wasn't, and I preferred the non veg. By the looks I thought it would have been the other way around. The meat was decently thick. The veg was missing a little something for me Service was friendly enough, but pretty standard. Parking is available in a large shared lot.
I had a young lady make my martini and it was delicious, just like the food. Thank you. It was my first time there but it definitely won't be my last. My son recommended this pizza place and he was right - you guys have beautiful service and delicious food. Looking forward to trying your pizza and experiencing your service again soon.
