Marios is the best Italian place in oxford. They have THE MOST authentic Italian food in all of Oxford and it's a must try. It makes you fall in love in Italian cuisine all over again! The range of vegetarian options on the menu is just so appetizing! They have something called Lasagne Siciliana and it's just out of the world! The tiramisu will be softest, most tastiest dish you’d have ever experienced and the pizzas! It's unbelievably perfect! The service is great and it's my most favourite Italian place in whole of Oxford.
A hidden gem of Italy in Oxford! The food here is AMAZING. It's authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced. We come here often and have always left satisfied, eagerly anticipating our next visit. The staff is quick and friendly, which is especially impressive considering how great the food is. Skip the chain restaurants in the city center and support this fantastic independent eatery!
A special thank you to Pizzeria Trattoria Mario for their care in making me gluten free pasta. It was incredibly delicious and totally gluten free. As someone with celiac, it can be nerve-racking eating out. I want to enjoy good food but I don't want to get sick! These guys know their stuff, take pride in their food and have a good sense of humour too. X
Fantastic food, fantastic staff what more could you ask for? Literally had the BEST pizza I've ever had. I had asked them a question about the dough (if it was fast acting yeast etc) and they were so lovely the chef even came out to talk to me. The waitress that served us was so friendly and welcoming. 100% would recommend this restaurant to anyone
Been to Italian restaurants throughout the UK and Europe, but this is really one of the best! Tonight for my sisters 21st, the food was amazing, the server was nice and we had a great time. I plan to come back with my Bf for a date night!
I've ordered takeout from Mario's a few times, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. The pizza is consistently warm and delicious! The restaurant has a genuine Italian atmosphere, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
It was a delight to discover a traditional, independent Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was vibrant.
Best pizza in Oxford, I had a takeaway and it was really good. I also ordered the tiramisu which was delicious! I’m looking forward to dining in soon!
