We were in Orleans on a public holiday which, in France, means that most restaurants are closed. We were very pleased to find this pizzeria open and busy. We sat outside as it was a warm evening. I ordered the tomato, mozzarella and pesto salad as I wasn't very hungry and it was huge, fresh and very tasty. My husband had a Reine pizza which was served fresh and piping hot. A great, informal restaurant in the centre of town.
We arrived exhausted late at night after a long journey. We got a lovely table outside the restaurant which is situated right in the centre of the old town. We were served quickly and efficiently. There is a children's menu (portions are generous) and a varied menu of pizza, pasta et for adults. Again, portions were generous and the food was very fresh. Prices were very reasonable.
We traveled through Orleans and stopped for lunch. after walking the streets on the northern side of the Loire river we found this inviting restaurant with outside seating. We typically look for the busiest restaurants when we do not know the area.We had a calzone and carbonara which were both perfectly prepared. Service was good and variety of beers to my liking.
Had lunch here after visiting the cathedral, this restaurant has great service and great food. Three of us had pizzas, and one of us had pasta. All dishes looked and tasted fantastic. Family supper with kids. The kids mini pizzas went down well. The adults who chose lasagna had eaten a better version earlier in the week on holiday in Angers. Service was almost too speedy and at times lacked grace but when the heavens opened a large parasol was speedily brought over to shelter us. On the whole ok for easy family food.
We ate outside and it felt a bit crammed together. We just wanted some pizza after a long day so my son ordered Hawaienne Pizza while I changed my mind to escalope milanaise which was just average as the meat was too thin compared to the coating.
Nice terrasse and food affordable to every wallet. Pizza and pasta a must... don't forget to order the escargots very cheap and cook just right... Love it great place and pretty much the only resto open on Sunday in Orleans.
Visited on a night in Orleans. Chose to sit in the outside enclosed part to escape the rain! Great food, excellent service and an English-speaking waitress which was useful! Recommend the lasagne! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
