We went on as a work group (12 pax) we all had placed and paid for our meals at the bar. We were waiting for our meals when a waitress came and told us that one of two of the salmons ordered can only be served as they were down to one serving. It was replaced with another order. 45 minutes into the waiting one of our girls stopped a waitress and asked how much longer before we were served as we all had to start making our way back into work, she was informed that it will be soon. The servings of food were large.Even the side salad was large.Very fresh and tasty food. The menu did not state that the fish came with any salad so I ordered a side salad . I was surprised that the fish did come with a salad. It should have been mentioned on the menu as it would have saved me ordering a side salad.The staff were very friendly during our lunchtime visit.Very highly recommended for food even if you don't drink.Very highly recommended.
Arrived fairly late at hotel around the corner, couldn't get a meal at accommodation and passed this pub on way in. Went in for a look, for the time of a Wednesday evening it was busy. Ordered and was served in a reasonable time. Good pub food (normal fair: burgers, steakes, stew and fish) I had a New York Steal sandwich with a wasabi sauce. Satisfied with this selection and the cold beer to top of the meal. Prices up there for pub meals, but not over the top for what I got.
I would definitely recommend PJs as a place to drink and eat but not on a Friday or Saturday night. The service was brilliant and the staff there are lovely, the few that I got to meet were so helpful if you ever get a chance to meet them I think their names were Emily who was working inside the poker room, and the waitresses Jessica and Ellie. Great service beautiful food. Just lacking some wines which I was informed weren't ordered

My impression: The place looks nice (enough). I ate a pizza there, it wasn't too bad, but not great. The service can be slow, even when they are not busy. They also seem a little pricey for some items on the menu.
They are nothing special. I see PJ's more of a place to get drunk, or get hit on by older women (no thanks).
Had a quick bite here and ordered their Chicken schnitzel and quite like it. The food came out reasonably quick. The salad was great and the schnitzel was crispy on the outside yet still juicy on the inside. The only thing lacking is the punch. Tried adding the Tabasco sauce and tomato sauce which works fine.
Love the multilevel of the pub. You can dance to old school music or go up stares for a funky new school music and a separate area for smoking and if you want to take a break from dancing and loud music. There drinks are also good and very dicent price as well.
We were staying nearby and arrived in town quite late. It was great to find them still serving meals. The meals were hot, fresh, very good value, and the staff very friendly.

Great food and Great service.. Went for dinner (The Shanks were divine) Just across the road from the Motelwhich was very handy.
Had dinner with friends on Friday. All our meals were average and service was very slow. Will think twice before going again...
