I loved PlayaBowls and have been ordering from them for a long time. But! Recently my last 4-5 orders, something has been missing. I always order a pressed juice, which is about 10$ or a water that is about 4$ and then I get a bowl and add at least 9$ worth of extras to the bowl. So my last couple of orders that uber eats has picked up has the receipts stapled to the bag with everything written on it and it’s missing about 13$ worth of my order. I always love coming here for a refreshing meal after a good workout. I usually get the tropical bowl but today I wanted to try the dragon fruit bowl called the electric mermaid. I gotta say it was also not bad. I got extra pineapples because I didnt want coconut flakes and they happily substituted it for me. For the first time since they opened they now allow seating indoors which was nice. I dont have to carry my bowl home and have it start melting as I?m driving anymore. The vibe feels like you?re in a beach shack off the shore of some island you stumbled upon???????????? its cool gotta trust me.
I have always had a decent experience here, even though order pick up times are usually way off. Today my order said it would be ready in 45 minutes but I still showed up after 20 minutes knowing it would be ready. I should have looked in the bag at the store, my coco power bowl was completely melted(like soup) and had blueberries in it which is NOT in the description. I also ordered a watermelon refresh but received Daylight detox instead! I hope it was just an off day, and my order is correct next time if I decide to return!
Playa bowl is good! What I ordered was a Dragonberry bowl, it was delicious, except for the spoon that they apparently blended into it. Chunks of green plastic found everywhere in the bowl. Who knows how much plastic I ate before noticing that I couldn 't chew the seeds in my mouth. Very disappointed and had to throw the rest of the bowl away. Place is also understaffed and very backed up when I arrived.
As a visitor to the area this was my first experience of Acai bowls. I asked for a recommendation and was given the Nutella from the menu. It was absolutely delicious and was served within 4 minutes of ordering! As someone not used to warm weather this was a welcome and refreshing treat! Would definitely recommend!
Way overpriced. So not worth it. Subpar ingredients. Mango weren't even ripe. Asked for double kiwi, got 5 slices. When i asked about it they said they usually give 3 slices. So they didn't even double it... Granola tastes cheap Pitaya base is fine. Green base is really good NGL so 2 stars.
It was my first time trying out this place. I ended up choosing Lola. It was tough because they ALL sound and look so good. Food quality was great I ended up adding chia seeds. Presentation bag and all was a plus. Trust me I will be ordering again. It was tasty! Satisfied customer ????????
I ordered a Nutella bowl and asked to add honey, didn?t see honey so I asked if they added it and the guy who made it said yes. Got home and started to eat it and definitely didn?t have honey on it and also didn?t have coconut flakes on it either which was listed on the menu.
So yummy!!! A must try..I devoured the my coco protein bowl, my daughter loved the nutaya bowl and I got oatmeal for breakfast..friendly staff, great product.
