We had an amazing dinner at Plaza Tapatio! The chips and salsa were top-notch, and they even offered a delicious crema-style dip. We ordered the tacos al pastor and the enchiladas Tapatio, both featuring tender and flavorful meat. The tacos came with fresh salsa and a roasted red pepper sauce that added just the right amount of heat while still being delicious. The enchiladas were served with rice and beans, which made my husband exclaim, "Why can't I make beans like this at home?!" The service was exceptional, and the prices were quite reasonable. Although we're just visiting, we would happily eat here multiple times a week if we lived nearby!
This restaurant didn't really wow me, to put it mildly. The classic margarita was just mediocre. My beef taco salad looked appealing at first, but when I tasted the beef, it reminded me of something you'd get on a hot dog from 7-Eleven. On the bright side, the Texas fajita was fantastic! It was very flavorful, although the steak was a bit tough. Overall, everything else was quite good! I might think about returning and sitting at the bar next time.
I ordered a lunch special of chile rellenos. When I arrived, the waitress argued with me, claiming they didn’t offer a chile rellenos lunch special and that I had to order from the dinner menu. I had to show her the menu to prove the lunch special existed, after which she took the meals back and fixed the order. However, our lunches arrived cold. I will never return. I clearly stated three times over the phone that I wanted the lunch special.
I didn’t leave a tip on my check because someone else in my group already did, but they still charged an $8 tip to my card. We split the bill three ways, and I was the only one who paid by card, yet they added a tip that I never authorized on my receipt. Very frustrating!

The food was ice cold, and the taco salad was poorly made. Overall, it feels like the cooks aren't invested in the quality of their dishes. It was a waste of money, and I ended up throwing it away after just one bite.
We always have a wonderful dining experience here. The food is consistently served hot and delicious, and the service is fast. The takeout is equally fantastic. Everything runs smoothly and effortlessly.
$7.90 for a small cup of queso is a bit pricey. The restaurant should reconsider their pricing. I definitely won't be ordering it again.
This is my second time trying the fajitas, and they are simply incredible! I highly recommend them!
